The purpose of the EMC library is to support academic and research activities. The library carries out its mission by Fulfilling the course related needs of Medical students, Meeting the scholarly needs of post graduate students and faculty members, Providing users with access to materials located inside the library system and lot more.

The library is a spacious hall, well furnished with comfortable seating arrangement and silent atmosphere. The Library is fairly enriched with collection of common textbooks, reference books, important National and International Journals and Internet facilities which can provide up to date information to students and teachers. It has friendly open stack and easy access system. The Library remains open from 8 AM to 10 PM for all working days. The library remains closed on Fridays and national holidays.

Library Rules and Regulations

Silence : Absolute silence must be maintained inside the library. Group discussions or loud talking are strictly prohibited.
Identification : Students must carry and produce their valid Library Membership Card or College ID to enter.
Personal Belongings : Bags, umbrellas, and personal books are not allowed inside. These must be kept at the designated counter.
No Smoking/Eating : Smoking, eating, and drinking (except water) are strictly forbidden inside the library.
Mobile Phones : Mobile phones must be kept on Silent Mode. Using phones for calls is prohibited.
Borrowing : Only registered members are entitled to borrow books.
Loan Period : Books are issued for a specific period (e.g., 7 or 14 days). Borrowed books must be returned on time.
Non-Circulating Materials : Reference books, journals, and newspapers cannot be taken out of the library.
Handling : Users must handle books with care. Marking, underlining, or tearing pages is a serious offense.
Damage/Loss : In case of loss or damage, the borrower must replace the book or pay double the current market price.
Overdue Charges : An overdue fine will be charged per day for each book kept beyond the return date.
Suspension : Repeated violation of rules may lead to the cancellation of library membership.
