Biography
Prof. Dr. Shaheen Akter passed MBBS from Sir Salimullah Medical College (SSMC), Dhaka in 1996. She passed MD in Pediatrics from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) in 2003. She obtained FCPS in Neonatology from Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons (BCPS) in July 2009. She has extensive training in Pediatrics and Neonatology in various colleges and institutes including Dhaka Shishu Hospital. She is a good pediatrician and capable of handling patients and managing neonatal emergency. She has a good number of publications in her credit. She joined Enam Medical College & Hospital as Assistant Professor in April 2009. Now she is Professor and Head of the Department of Pediatrics.
